Weaknesses of first generation model:
- requires important amount of experimental data to fit the model and obtain a high fidelity result,
- unflexible, does not consider technology changes like thickness modifications of cathode and electrolyte, cathode doping, etc.,
- not reliable with complex charge and discharge profiles and for short-ciruit evaluation.
